Privacy Policy
Zamio Physics respects your privacy. This policy explains how we handle personal information, guided by the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
We collect your name, email address, university, course and year of study when you create or update an account. We also collect lesson progress, quiz answers, scores and attempt dates. If you contact us, enquire about tutoring or subscribe to the newsletter, we collect the details you send in that form.
Why we collect it
We use this information to manage your account, provide learning resources, save progress, show quiz results and respond to enquiries. Newsletter emails are sent only to subscribers. We do not sell your personal information.
Storage and service providers
We use Lovable Cloud to store account and learning information. Google handles Google sign-in, if you choose it. Embedded YouTube videos are provided by YouTube and may collect information under Google's privacy policy. Service providers may process information outside Australia. We use access controls to restrict student records and private resources, but no online system can guarantee absolute security.
Cookies and account storage
We use browser storage to keep you signed in and remember your display theme. Google and YouTube may use their own cookies or storage. You can manage these in your browser; disabling account storage may prevent login from working.
Your choices
You can update your profile in your dashboard. To request access to, correction of or deletion of your information, unsubscribe from the newsletter, or raise a privacy concern, use our contact form. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request. We keep information only for as long as it is needed for these purposes or required by law.
Privacy concerns
Please contact us first so we can investigate. If you are not satisfied with the response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
